I'm a Harry Truman Democrat.  Where did they all go? A Truman Democrat believes in strong defense, God and country first, less government and what is good for the country before the party.  The last good Democrat we had as president was LBJ.  John Kennedy had the largest peace time military build up in history, the largest tax cut in history and he fought the United Steel Workers union. 

The current crop of Democrats has changed since President Jimmy Carter.  When I think of the current Democratic party I'm ashamed.  Jimmy Carter put his human rights agenda before the good of the country.  He allowed the Sha of Iran to be over thrown by an Islamic republic.  The Sha was our friend and installing political reforms.  We are living with Jimmy Carter's actions today with Islamic terrorism rooted from Iran. Ted Kennedy is not the same person as his brother JFK.  JFK would turn in his grave over Ted's political leftest beliefs. 

It's hard to believe people like Nanct Polosy, Dick Durban, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton have the same political beliefs as Harry Truman, FDR and JFK.  They are so far left in their beliefs they can't be Truman Democrats.  Harry Truman loved this country.  It's hard to believe the current crop of Democrats love this country.  I want my country back and I want my party back.  The party of Harry Truman when there were real Democrats.
